Even though I am a staunch advocate of self-care, it took Manizeh’s group to overcome a trauma that had occurred years ago. The trauma had become an insurmountable barrier which held me back on so many levels. Over the years, I had become comfortable with the trauma and the resulting sadness.

Rest, Play, & Stretch Workshop

“Rest and play are not the most common words in my vocabulary, but they are becoming more frequent after my 3 hour Rest, Play and Stretch with Manizeh. Before I committed to the 3 hour class, I called to express my concern that due to chronic health problems I might not be able to complete the class. We decided that in that event I would just block my screen and rest or leave. I was so engaged in the gently guided 3 hours that the time literally flew. My repressed play "gene" resurfaced and I ended the 3 hours committed to keeping that intention. The reflections, creativity and insights gained through play were effortless.The poetry and music selections were perfect.
